I’ve run LIV Athletic for 8 years and I have a very good reason for hating this approach.

It scares people away!

My favorite thing in the world is helping people get in the best shape of their lives, all while reaching personal fitness goals that are important to them. I’ve helped hundreds of people get over their initial fears of working out.

Part of the reason why our gym has held such a positive reputation is that we’ve figured out the 5 most important steps that anyone needs to overcome their nerves and finally get the fitness and results they deserve!

  1. You’re Not Currently in Shape

Let’s start with a big one first. There’s actually no need to ‘get in shape to get in shape’ – I mean, we both know that taking the first steps to getting started is keeping you from reaching your fitness goals.

But if you have even an inkling of wanting to get more out of your life, want to get more out of your workout, want to get more out of each day then you must start with those first few steps. So many of our members have started here, and it’s a big reason why I got into coaching!

Some gyms seem like they are for pro-athletes or the uber fit ‘only’… not at LIV Athletic. Sure you’ll be inspired by some individuals who have been here for years and will help show you the way. But at our core, we’re made up of everyday people looking to get the most out of their health & fitness routines.

In fact, the majority of people who have walked through our doors and who we’ve personally taught the basics of fitness, have started where you are right now.

The difference at LIV Athletic is that we have coached hundreds upon hundreds of people probably not too different from yourself to live the healthiest lives possible. The results are in our gym and among our community, every single training session.

Sure, we all come from different backgrounds, some with athletic backgrounds, some who have gotten busy at work & let their fitness slide, and others having never worked out before. We don’t have to do a ‘hard-sell’ here, because we see the proof of our fitness training day in and day out!
